Warrior Centric Healthcare Training

Overview

At D2 TEAM-Sim, I spearheaded the technical design and deployment of the Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) component for the Steptoe Group's patent-pending Warrior-Centric Healthcare Training (WCHT). This high-consequence training ecosystem was engineered for the Warrior Transition Unit (WTU) at Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC) and other elite medical institutions to support a diverse cadre of primary care managers, clinical nurses, and command leadership.

Immersive Avatar Integration and Character Logic

To elevate the training beyond static slide-based learning, I pioneered the use of virtual simulations to represent complex patient case studies.

Framework Architecture and Compliance

The training was built using the D2 Interactive Multimedia Instruction Framework (DIF), a proprietary development tool designed for modularity and rigorous federal standards.

Cross-Functional Leadership and Technical Execution

In my capacity as Project Manager and Instructional Designer, I acted as the primary liaison between the technical teams and the Steptoe Group.

LMS Deployment and Data Validation

I managed the end-to-end packaging and distribution of the learning content to ensure "zero-fail" performance in the field.

Key Insight: Warrior-Centric Healthcare requires more than a lecture; it requires empathy and clinical precision. By architecting a SCORM-compliant, avatar-led IMI environment, I transformed a theoretical training course into a functional, pseudo-realistic simulation that prepares medical professionals for the complexities of veteran care.
