US Army Job Performance Aid

Overview

While at D2 TEAM-Sim, I spearheaded the development of the Job Performance Aid (JPA), a strategic new training product designed to solve the challenge of high-speed, low-cost content production. By re-engineering the development lifecycle, I created a framework that allowed for the rapid deployment of technical training without the need for intensive senior software or instructional resources.

The Strategic Objective: Low-Friction, High-Velocity Production

The goal was to move away from over-engineered training models and toward an agile "JPA" format. I designed this product category to meet the following criteria:

Multilingual Logic and Modular Architecture

The flagship prototype for this initiative was developed in response to a high-priority solicitation requiring a dual-language (English and Arabic) deployment.

Project Management and Content Stewardship

As the lead strategist and project manager, I oversaw the entire lifecycle of the JPA effort, balancing technical execution with creative oversight.

Strategic Results: A Scalable Training Model

The JPA framework provided D2 TEAM-Sim with a new, competitive service pillar.

Key Insight: Innovation isn't always about adding complexity; often, it's about subtracting it. By architecting a "plug-and-play" multilingual framework, I transformed a laborious development process into a high-speed production engine that turned a multi-week project into a multi-day success.
