Air Defense Artillery Mobile Game

Overview

I led the architectural design and deployment of the "US Army Air Defender" platform for the U.S. Army Air Defense Artillery (ADA) Branch. Developed in direct coordination with the Office Chief Air Defense Artillery (OCADA) and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), this multi-platform application transformed the recruitment pipeline into an immersive, goal-oriented digital experience.

Gamified Career Progression Logic

I architected the application as a comprehensive simulation of an ADA officer's career trajectory. The core engagement engine uses a "rank-up" mechanic to educate potential candidates on the long-term opportunities within the branch.

Social Growth & Unit Command Mechanics

To increase "virality" and peer-to-peer engagement, I implemented a unique unit-building social layer.

Full-Stack Infrastructure & Lifecycle Management

I managed the end-to-end technical environment for the platform, ensuring high availability across web, iOS, and Android ecosystems.

Multi-Platform Deployment

I navigated the complex publishing requirements to ensure the app was accessible as a free, high-quality download on the Google Play and Apple App Store, while simultaneously maintaining a web-accessible version for desktop users.

Key Insight: US Army Air Defender moved beyond a simple "app" to become a transparent, documented career map. By allowing potential officers to "play" their future career—from 2LT to General—I successfully bridged the gap between civilian interest and professional military commitment.
